Today we are going to combine music and walking.Walking helps your body release tension and brings your mind into the present moment. When you combine movement with music, you can improve awareness, focus, and relaxation. This is a simple but powerful way to work toward your goal.
Step 1) Go for a walk
Find a quiet and safe place where you can walk comfortably. This can be a park, a calm street, or any space where you feel at ease. Put on your headphones and start your playlist. Choose music that feels supportive for your goal. Start walking slowly and naturally. There is no need to control your pace. Let the music guide your movement. Notice your steps, your breathing and the rhythm of your body. Stay aware of your surroundings while gently keeping your attention on the music and your walking. If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to your steps and the sound of the music.
Now stop reading and go for a walk for at least 15 minutes while listening to your playlist. Take your time. There is no rush. When you are finished, come back to continue.
Step 2) Reflection: Welcome back. Take a moment to stand still or sit down. Notice how your body feels after walking.
Take a few slow, deep breaths. Let your body settle.
How did it feel to walk with music?
Did the music help you feel more relaxed or energized?
Did you notice your pace or breathing change during the walk?
Did you feel more balanced afterward?
Did this exercise support your goal in any way?
There are no right or wrong answers. Just observe your experience honestly
Step 3) Looking ahead to day 5
Tomorrow is your final day. You will bring everything together and explore how to use music in your own personal way. This is your moment to experiment and discover what works best for you.
See you then.
