Today, you get to choose entirely for yourself how you want to use music. This is your chance to combine or repeat everything you have learned in a way that works best for you. Whether you want to combine breathing exercises with music, walk with music, or simply listen to music in a nice spot, anything is possible. It is your moment to experiment and discover what works best for you.
Step 1) Choose the technique that works best for you
Think back to the techniques we used: listening to music in a nice place, breathing exercises, or walking with music. Choose the one that feels best for you, combine them, or choose something completely different.
There is no right or wrong way to do this. If your mind wanders, gently bring your attention back to the music.
Now stop reading and spend at least 15 minutes listening to your playlist. When you are ready come back to continue.
Step 2) Reflection
Welcome back, take your time to return. Take a moment to sit quietly or remain still. Notice how your body feels. Take a few slow, deep breaths. Now take a moment to reflect on your experience.
What did you notice while listening to your music?
Did the music help you relax, focus, or feel more balanced?
Which exercise from this week helped you the most?
What did you discover about yourself through music this week?
How would you like to use music in your daily life?
There are no right or wrong answers. Just observe your experience honestly.
Congratulations! You have now completed five days of music therapy and have discovered how music can help you achieve your goals and improve your well-being. You have the tools and knowledge to use music as a powerful aid in your daily life from now on. Remember that music is always available to support you, whether you are seeking relaxation, want to improve your focus, or boost your mood. You did a fantastic job!
