Some places are just destinations. Others are part of who you are. Surinam runs through my veins. It’s my father’s homeland, a place I’ve visited and lived during my youth. “Most definitely the backdrop of my childhood memories.”
Last year, we took a leap of faith: we started renovating our family home with a bigger vision in mind. A space of peace. A place of restoration. A wellness escape for vulnerable people and their caretakers. The road ahead is long, but nothing meaningful is built overnight. So here we are, laying one brick at a time.
With passion, hard work, and the generosity of those who believe in this vision. We’re creating fair jobs for locals, while implementing sustainable and durable changes to the house.
