Day 2: Music Therapy

Updated: Apr 28

Today, we will explore something very important. Your environment has a strong influence on how you experience music. When you listen in a calm and comfortable space, your mind relaxes more easily, and the music can have a deeper effect on your body and emotions. So before we begin, take a moment to become aware of your surroundings. Find a space where you feel safe, calm, and at ease. This can be a quiet room, or a peaceful place in nature. There is no right or wrong choice. Only what feels good for you.

Step 1) Choosing our space

Now choose a place where you can fully relax. A place where you will not be disturbed.

If possible, make yourself comfortable. Sit or lie down in a way where your body can fully let go.

Step 2) Listen to your music

Now you can start your playlist. The music you selected is aligned with your personal goal. Let it play, and bring your attention to the sound. There is nothing you need to do. Only listen. Let yourself be guided by the music. If thoughts appear, that is completely fine. Simply return to the sound.

Step 3) Reflection

Now take a moment to reflect.

  • Did your environment feel supportive?

  • How did you feel before the music started?

  • And how do you feel now?

  • Did the music calm you, or give you energy?

  • What do you notice in your body or mind?

Even small changes are important.

Step 4) Looking ahead to Day 3

Tomorrow, we will combine breathing exercises with music.

This will help you go even deeper into relaxation and focus.

It will strengthen the connection between your body, breath, and music.

See you at day 3.
