DIY autumn wreath and a new chapter of Life!
Updated: Aug 22

It’s autumn! A season that symbolizes letting go of what needs to be let go of. In other words, a season of change. A few days ago, we found out that we are officially allowed to participate in a program to become family home parents! A major life change, if you ask me. From that day on, I also decided that it was time to stop playing it safe in every other area of my life. From now on, I wanted to shape my life in a way that allowed me to pursue my own dreams, passions, and interests. Over the coming years, I will be writing many blog stories through which I hope to inspire you to do the same.
I will take you along on my “journey towards Homeostasis.” Homeostasis means doing everything you can to live a balanced life in every area of your life.

That same day, I also decided to go for a walk in the woods. I happened to come across some beautiful large bushes with red/orange berries, so I took a few branches home with me. I have enjoyed making creative things ever since I was young, so I decided to get creative again. I chose to make a lovely autumn wreath.
I already had most of the supplies at home. I only needed to go to the store to buy a metal frame. Coincidentally, Action had some available around that time. Once I had gathered all the supplies, I managed to make a beautiful wreath within an hour. I was able to enjoy it throughout the entire autumn.
(Please note!) If you would like to enjoy your autumn wreath for longer, I recommend buying artificial berry branches. That is definitely something I will do in the future as well. Because I will certainly be making this autumn wreath again.
HOW DO YOU MAKE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN WREATH?
Below, I’ll describe which supplies I used to make this autumn wreath.
SUPPLIES
Black yarn
Pliers
A metal wreath frame
(Artificial) red/orange berry branches (5 branches per section of the frame)
METHOD
Count the number of sections in the metal frame.
Then make bundles of 4 to 5 branches.
Tie the bundles together with yarn and thread them through the sections of the frame.
Also secure the bundles to the frame using yarn.
Continue doing this until you have a full wreath.
Have lots of fun DIY-ing!
